Nothing Mystic About This History Play...

No that's not Lucius Malfoy (if only), it's one many looks I sported in an original one act history play entitled Captain of Color, performed at the Mystic Seaport Museum! The play follows the life and times of Paul Cuffe, the black merchant sailor and abolitionist who contributed heavily to the relocation of freed American slaves back to Africa.

With one other actor playing the title role, I had to play a whopping 11 different characters, switch between 4 different accents, and handle most of the set changes. Talk about wearing many hats! No, literally, there were so many hats (and wigs)...
